Quality artwork increases the efficiency of our workflow and reduces unnecessary downtime, all our jobs have ripped proofs generated and if required can be sent as PDF’s or hard copy through normal channels or through our dedicated web server via our website. Our CTP system produces up to 24 B2 plates an hour and is calibrated to our proofer and presses every 3 months which is a requirement of the ISO 12647-2 Colour Management Standard that we hold.

Our presses produce from 1 to 6 colour plus coating all in one pass including perfecting if required and we have a finishing department to rival most dedicated print finishers.

ISO 9001 provides the backbone of our overall management system and links very closely to our other third party accredited international standards which are: 

• FSC Forest Stewardship Council offering full chain of custody from raw pulp to finished product.
• ISO 12647-2 Colour Management Standard guarantees all aspects of colour
• ISO 14001 Environmental Standard

Drainage Discharge

No pollutants of any type are discharged into the drainage system during the manufacturing process at Poplar Services, all our waste which is kept to the absolute minimum is removed from the premises by a third party licensed Waste Management Company and is treated in accordance with the Hazardous Waste act 2005.

We are a fully registered and compliant waste producer, all waste is stored in a bunded unit outside our premises and is regularly collected by our designated third party contractor and has completely traceable documentary evidence of re-processing.
